I like food.

Virginia Woolf said that "one cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well." While I don't necessarily agree, I definitely get her point. I think food is one of the most worth-while indulgences. It's why I'll drive 25 minutes and then wait in line 30 more minutes for a doughnut from Gourdough's. (My stomach rumbles just typing the words.) It's also why, in general, I'm always cooking new things in hopes of finding a larger and larger collection of recipes I love. I thought I'd share some of the ones I have enjoyed recently.

These are all from a RealSimple kick I've been on lately. They're all quick and easy which seems to make things tastier.

Pork Chops and Peaches
(My favorite of the four--make the couscous Parmesan!)

Roasted Chicken and Carrots with Olives and Lemon

Pork with Sautéed Granny Smith Apples
Salmon with Brown Butter and Almonds

  1. Yum! I'll have to make some of those!

  2. You didn't learn this at Sbisa. Yumola.

Comments make my heart happy.
